Carbide Create Not Responding

Hello all. Pretty new to CNC and the forum and have made a few things so far. Has anyone solved the problem of Carbide Create and its issue of with the message “not responding” that appears generally when you are importing an svg image or when you are creating toolpaths? This has happened to me on two different computers. I found another thread that briefly touched on this issue but it didn’t seem resolved. See baaja F B comment here - Carbide Create keeps crashing
It is VERY frustrating.
