Carbide Motion does not start - OpenGL issue?

Hello,

I’m having a problem getting Carbide Motion (and Carbide Create) to launch. The app crashes with the following error:

I did some research and it looks like ig4icd32.dll is related to OpenGL. Other people with this problem using other software said the solution was updating their Intel HD graphics driver. I’ve updated mine to the latest version and the problem persists.

Is there a way to have Carbide Motion to fall back to software rendering? I understand it may not be practical to do this with Carbide Create, but Carbide Motion doesn’t make use of any 3D rendering. I’m really hoping to use my old laptop as a controller instead of having to use my good laptop in a dusty environment.

Cheers.

I managed to solve the problem by uninstalling the manufacturer’s Intel HD Graphics driver (which they, of course, don’t maintain). I then used the Intel Driver Update Utility to update to the latest driver. Everything is working great now.
