I’m looking for a way to move my entire design (once all toolpaths are highlighted) by increments. The mouse is not precise enough. I know there’s the alignment tools but I need to set my ENTIRE design exactly 1/16" from the x and y axis. It takes me moving and checking until I get close. I’m hoping there’s a faster way maybe with the keyboard. Tried to hold CTRL and arrow but no luck. Any suggestions?
Best way to do that I’m aware of is to:
- draw in a rectangle at the desired origin (relative to the drawn geometry)
- set the grid to 1/16"
- turn on snap to grid
- select everything
- zoom in and grab the rectangle at the bottom left corner
- drag to the desired origin
