Hey all - another Carbide Create tips video. In this one, I show how to make a two part tapered leg (well, three parts) for the lamp project I built/shared here. This project again highlighted to me the benefits of using a CNC for precision and repeatability. When all was said and done, I had three identical legs made up of six parts cut from oak and each had perfectly aligned center holes. I also show a measurement/construction line technique which allowed me to transfer the markings from one item to any other item I needed to move/copy them to. Hope this helps someone:
