Flatten a 3D model to get DXF template

I have a design for a longboard deck that I intend to make but I need a way of producing an accurate template that I can print to cut the shape out once the shape has been formed in a mould (template needs to account for the curved surface). Does anyone know how I can produce a flattened version of the model I have?

It was designed in inventor and I tried using sheet metal tools to flatten it but to no avail!

Sorry for the short reply, but this thread might help:

You can also create a surface and flatten it.
