Has anyone experienced their XXL out of no where losing The tool path then goes right the the tool path like there was and issue.
Probably, but I’m afraid that I’m not understanding your difficulty from your description of it.
Sounds as if it might be an old problem where lines were too long and arcs weren’t properly formed — fix by trimming lines: https://shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/Operation_Troubleshooting#Toolpath_Differs_from_Expected esp. the links http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1161 and http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1536 but I’d thought that one was long solved.
Usually difficulties as you describe are mechanical, please check:
- pulley set screws: http://docs.carbide3d.com/article/169-shapeoko-3-how-to-check-the-pulley-set-screws
- belt tension — this is tricky to get right at first and takes a bit of practice
- V-wheels — these should hold things in plane and only allow motion along the line of the axis of the V-rail they’re attached to
