All of sudden homing stopped working for the Y position, blue light on control board is lit under Y.
GRBLerror: Homing failed couldn’t find limit switch.
Ron
Check the switch — see if it’s stuck and can be freed up.
If that’s not it, unplug the homing switch and see if the light goes out — if that’s the case then the switch is bad and you’ll need a replacement — contact us at support@carbide3d.com and we’ll do our best to help you with this.
Tried freeing it up no luck, I unplug and the light goes out. Is their anyway to run a job without homing until T get a new switch? Thank you Will
You can use a 3rd party communication / control program which doesn’t require homing as CM4 does: https://wiki.shapeoko.com/index.php/Communication_/_Control
Or, you can revert to Grbl 0.9 and use CM3: GRBL 1.1 and Carbide Motion 4
