Hello everyone, I apologize if this question is already on here but I cannot find it anywhere. I saw this video and I am wondering if anyone knows how to carve a star like this with the center of the star proud of the arms?
you will have to fast forward to around 6 minutes to get the star in the center of the plaque.

it’s going to depend on the software you use, anything designed for 3d will do it fairly easily if given a model to work with but on a 2.5d system like carbide create you’re going to have a hell of a time. Might be worth looking into Fusion360’s free hobbyist offering.
