I have gcode file - what do I have to do so i can load it into Carbide Create

Hello. Have a great & safe weekend. God Bless you all.
Please someone help me - I have gcode file - what do I have to do so i can load it into Carbide Create ?

Thanks in Advance.

G-Code is an output format, it’s not an import or graphics or CAD format such as the DXFs and SVGs which Carbide Create can import.

In theory you could use pstoedit to convert G-Code into a graphics format to use, but it’s not likely to yield that nice a file.

Usually you’d just send the G-Code file to the machine using Carbide Motion as is depicted in: http://docs.carbide3d.com/tutorials/hello-world/ or http://docs.carbide3d.com/tutorials/1-wrench/

See https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/File_formats and https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/Glossary for more information / an explanation of the terminology.

Thanks Adams - is there any new about the Probe - until when I can get one, I have been waiting for it more than a year now

The Probe should be back in stock by the middle of this month — maybe earlier judging by:
