Milling Depth limits

I’m looking at milling some heatsinks out of aluminum where the maximum milling depth would be 1.85 inches. I believe there’s enough Z height in the nomad to clear it assuming my stock is not a whole lot taller than say 2". I would need endmills with a longer reach of course. I presume there’s no problem with using extended reach endmills (within reason)?

It’ll be fine, but you’ll need to slow down some - longer endmills are easier to break (repetitive flexing)
