I’ve seen other topics in forum discussing wasteboard upgrades. Does anyone sell mdf wasteboard with additional threaded holes and nut installed with straight lines marked on them? Or is it possible to buy the shapeoko threaded table, but in an XXL size?
I worked up a technique for making a threaded insert board using just an SO3, the router, a board and some clamps: http://www.shapeoko.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=6045 — should be adaptable to the larger sizes.
We are currently only selling the SO3 aluminum wasteboard. No idea about future products (I just do support, not product development, so don’t have any information to share).
