No immediate intention to use one, but was thinking about a project where it might be handy. Was curious if anyone has tried? Imagine this is a non-starter due to torque limitations but thought I would ask.
I don’t believe anyone has ever tried it. You need to be aware of the 50 watt spindle motor. There are some web sites that you can plug in the numbers to determine hp requirements. cutter dia, thickness, material, speed (rpm) feed rate, etc.
Ref: 50 watts = 0.067hp
As long as you stay below this number you should be fine.
