Z carriage will collide with the LEFT side X carriage

So I have been meaning to ask about this. Why is it that the machine does a homing routine and offsets the spindle 5mm off all the limit switch positions in the far back right corner and prevent the Z carriage from colliding with the right side X carriage or moving too far to the rear and allowing the X carriages from hitting the back BUT CM will allow the the Z carriage to collide into the LEFT side X carriage? That seems odd and I’m wondering if there is something not set up properly on my XXL

No, the Carbide 3D kit is homing switches only — we implement soft limits when jogging in Carbide Motion, but for the balance of it you’re on your own to ensure that the machine doesn’t crash.
