Anyone else having a problem with the bit setter location. It seem that it is not going far enough forward to touch it. It does touch it but just barely.
Which machine do you have?
What version of Carbide Motion are you running?
What is your Y-axis Travel Dimension under Settings?
Is your gantry getting hung up on the doubled-up belts (trim them) or the belt anchors (loosen them and cant them away, then retighten)?
Could you post a photo?
I had to increase my y-axis size after putting together my pro in order to make contact with the bit setter. I think 5mm, and I still seem to have additional travel if I needed to go a bit more.
thanks everyone. Today I cut the doubled up belt and extended the Y-axis and now its perfect.
