Hi all, I’m currently planning out a final home for my XXL and I currently have an old run of 220V going to my install location that I’m debating converting back over to 120V.
Before I do… are there any SXXL accessories and or modifications that I’m going to REALLY want down the road (rabbit hole) that require 220V power?
220v 2.2 kw spindle seems to be the most popular.
There are 120v options but many/most will pull a max of 20 amps.
Even my 800W spindle will be 220V.
You may also want to install a dust collection system for your shop that runs on 220v
A 220v supply still has to have a neutral/ground for safety, so just wire to an appropriate breaker panel and use what ever combination of 220 and 110 circuit breakers you need. Am I missing something?
