3d Carving Average Time

I have the 5.1 Pro and have been enjoying the 2d carvings, I am thinking about getting into 3d carvings. My question is a loaded one with alot of variables I’m sure, but I’m 74 and can’t sit in front of the machine for 5 plus hours, what would you say is an average time for some simple carves??

Hugely depends on size & complexity.

I’ve had them from 10-15 minutes to 6 hours.

I’m doing a trophy belt emblem in brass where I’m carving out a 2.5" x 4.5" area following a contour, and then engraving a couple team names in the carved area. Each path is about 25 minutes.

This one is about 12" x 8" and took 4 1/2 hours

Thanks Todd, less than 5 hrs I think I can handle. What 3d software are you using, I have looked are carbide create pro and vetric pro.
