4th axis.. no transverse mounted x axis

I’ve been thinking about building a rotary x axis machine basically for toy truck tires and other non-lathe turned objects. It’s hard to explain as I am so new to this experience, but I found one on youtube that does exactly what I am thinking about.

This shouldn’t be hard to do with a shapeoko, (of course an extra one ) I could even use shorter Y axis rails as the Z axis stays centered. Any thoughts, besides the extra cost of an extra shapeoko which I won’t mind as soon as my first toy line pays off my first shapeoko.
