5 pro support is exceptional

It is rare that give feedback on anything but in this instance I have to say. a couple of issues that happened in tandem with my 5 pro were jumped on by support and identified pretty much instantly.

no parts needed which saved me time (I’m in the UK). I simply needed the problems identifying then they were easily fixed by myself. (loose screws/bars that I would never have seen myself but caused the machine to be none functional).

Both Fleming and Oscar were exceptional so shout out to those two.

I fully understand things go wrong, but when they are put right quickly it gives you so much confidence in the company.

It is nice to see a positive post. Recently saw someone post on FB that the machine is a piece of garbage. We see the negative like a big neon sign, rarely the positive. Glad it is working for you.

I agree. I upgraded from the 3 and the difference is amazing. It being a new release there were bound to be a few issues, it’s how they are dealt with that matters. I am much more comfortable with the 5 pro than I was with the 3, and adding the vfd spindle kit has changed the game competely. noise reduced dramatically from my previous makita router. speeds controlled automatically,

Negatives. I’ve seen posts on y and z switches not working (one of mine didn’t on delivery but was swiftly swapped out.) but in the whole I am so glad I’ve got one.

positives. much more solid machine with all the features I wanted on the 3 but didn’t have. I can now create stuff with confidence with far less hassle. Also my cat doesn’t try and attack me with the screaming noise of the router, in fact he sleeps through the spindle noise.
