Adaptive tool path for slotting

Adaptive tool paths are a very nice feature in F360, and Saunders is talking a lot about it in his YT tutorials. I didn’t see this feature in CC514 yet, nor many discussions about it yet. (If it is in there already, let me know please)

I think adaptive slotting would help a great deal, potentially using full tool length engagement while plowing through material with optimal chipload and decent chip evac.

It is like a traveling pocket, cutting in spirals moving forward.

Can we make this happen in CC?

That is a feature request we’ve had a number of times — I’ll add your message to the list of folks asking for it in bug/feature request tracking.
