I recently downloaded to the latest version of Carbide Create (743), but I noticed this in the 729 version previously. What I am familiar with from previous versions is to click the “edit tabs” but and then taken to another menu where I can designate the size of the tabs and then click around the perimeter of the object to place where I want the tabs to be.
In this current version (743), how do I add tabs to my project?
In the tool path you set the height and length of the tabs. As you discovered you actually place them in the edit tabs menu. In previous versions it was hard to remove or move tabs. In the V7 versions you can remove tabs and place them somewhere else.
