Adding Diamond Drag Bit to Tool Selection

Hi: I don’t see the MC Etcher Diamond Drag bit in the tool selecton (at least under etching). Can someone direct me to it or tell me how to add it in Carbide Create Pro? I’m new to CC (today) and I have not been able to figure it out in build 530. The video tutorials that show how to add tools look much different than the build 530 interface.

Welcome to the community.

I don’t have pro but assume it is similar. Click the edit menu and choose “Show Tool Database”
.
Right click on one of the sections in the database and select “NewTool → Vee Bit → MM or inch” and then fill in the relevant information in the box that opens up.

MC Etcher Speeds, Feeds, & DOC

So, I picked up the pack of the MC Etcher engravers and just wondering some opinions on what people are finding to be good speeds and feeds. Yes, I’ve watched @wmoy video, which is primarily the reason for the purchase. I was more just opening up a discussion to see what’s working for everyone. I’m almost exclusively engraving powder coated aluminum, so that’s where my interest is personally.
