Assuming Z zero is set to top of stock and the start depth in AVC is set to 2mm, does the Area Pocket toolpath use top of stock or the 2mm setting in AVC as its starting point?
The reason I ask is that I wanted to start the AVC slightly below Z zero to gain a little line width but my area pocketing tool is a 1mm end mill. I don’t think it will survive the initial plunge if it starts at 2mm under Z zero like the V bit.
