I have a relatively simple piece I would like to cut for switches to be installed in however when I add all the cut outs, I can only figure out how to center them in them area. I’m trying to evenly distribute the spacing between the small cut outs. Is there a function in carbide create I am missing somewhere or a simple trick to do so?

Carbide Create only has alignment, not spacing options.
You will need to do the math to determine the spacing necessary for the desired placement, then you can use a rectangle of that size to drag things into position.
