Where are you setting zero? Does that match the origin in the file?
How does this relate to the distance which the machine will need to move and the structure of the machine?
Post your .c2d file, step-by-step notes on how you are securing your stock and setting zero relative to it and managing all tool changes and a photo showing an attempt at cutting still in place on the machine?

You mentioned an issue in another thread with your BitZero. Up above you said you jogged to where you wanted it, but didn’t mention if you set zero manually.
I think that is my issue. When I asked it rapid to zero it went to back right of machine.
Thank you very much for your help and patience. I will look at how to manually set zero.
IT WORKS!!!
Thank you so much. Now I just have to wait for my collets and I can actually make some chips.
Without the bit zero you can just do it manually.
Best method depends on your material and how critical it is. You can zero from the center or a corner. Just make sure your file reflects the same spot you set.
If doing center it’s probably easier with a V bit even if you don’t use that bit in your cut. You could use a V for a corner as well and just eyeball it.
For Z use a thin piece of paper and slide it back and forth as you lower Z slowly until the bit grabs the paper.
Thank you so much. Really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
As Will said, if you don’t want to wait you can pick up the Makita trim router and always have that as a backup if you have spindle issues. And use it hand held for quicker roundovers.
That’s what we are all here for. We have all been newbies. And I still feel that I am compared to most of the veterans on this forum.
This group is one of the most helpful bunches of folks I have seen on the internet and are largely troll / snipe free.
I agree. This group is GREAT. When deciding on which machine to start my journey with. It was very noticeable how helpful the folks in this forum are compared to some of the others I visited,
