Bad X stepper motor?

Ran a job today. Then noticed x wasn’t moving when I went to change bits. It was making a weird noise too.

I swapped the z and x cables on the board and tried to home, but the x motor made the same noise (during the first part of homing for the z as expected)

I’m guessing this is a bad stepper motor?

More likely the wiring extension cable is bad. Please swap thing around so as to test that.

That looks like it may be the case. Are replacements available?
