When I set the HDZ option to Full Travel (Ballscrew), when using the Rapid Position controls, the router will ‘bang’ when moving to the corners or edges. Setting the HDZ option to Reduced Travel (Ballscrew) do not get any of the ‘banging’ when using Rapid Position. Is there something I need to do when using the HDZ Full Travel option? Have the Shapeoko 3XL.
The reduced travel option is for when a Suckit dust boot or similar is installed.
If you get a crash, and you can’t adjust things in terms of the homing switch locations and so forth, please calibrate for belt stretch.
