Can anyone point me to a belt replacement video for a Shapeoko Pro (not a 5 Pro)? Any advice? Do I have to remove the X axis stepper motor? Any risk of the machine becoming out of square because of the replacement process?
Disassembly is the reverse of assembly.
My suggestion is to remove one end of each belt, tape the new belt to it, then pull it through — that way, no disassembly is required (esp. for the X-axis).
