This is the largest project I’ve created to date, pushing my CNC machine almost to its limits. It was a challenging piece that required many hours of machining, sanding, and finishing, but I’m very happy with the final result.

You had posted about the defect at the top right side. I recommended you just leave it alone. At the time of seeing the small piece you were referencing I thought it was going to be the Last Supper. Very nice carving. Last year at Christmas my Woodworking Club President is a pastor. I had some purple heart and made a large frame. I found the Last Supper printed on material at Hobby Lobby. So I put the material on a backing and made the frame and gave it to him at our Christmas Party. The thing was about 48" long by 30". I put a french cleat on the back to hang it because the purple heart was so heavy. The picture is before I put finish on the frame.
On the back I used my SO3 to engrave.
So in your picture I recognized the beamed ceiling.
Thank you again for your recommendation. You were absolutely right to leave it alone. Looking back, there’s a very good chance I would have ruined it if I had tried to repair it! 
And your Last Supper turned out spectacular. The purple heart frame looks beautiful, and I can imagine how impressive it must be at that size. No wonder you needed a French cleat to hang it! Thank you for sharing the photos with me.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to carve?

4 hours flattening the material, 40 minutes machining the frame, 5 hours for the roughing pass, and 10 hours for the finishing pass.
