Bit Setter Install Height

The BitSetter can be installed at two different heights. For the Z-Plus which mounts 1" higher would I mount the BitSetter at its higher level or is there a another reason for the installation options ?

Go to 0:30.

The heights are for different size machines.

I had watched the video and missed that tidbit of information.
