Bit Zero and VFD Cable wired wrong

I received my 5Pro last week with the 80mm Spindle.
Tried to get it up and running and ran into a few issues.

Bit Zero cable seems to be wired wrong. It shows always activated regardless if the button is pushed or not. The cable appears to be wired wrong. I was able to flip one end around basically reversing signal and ground and that works.

Similar issue with the VFD adapter cable. The ground wire is in the wrong pin location. I verified the voltages coming out of the controler with what I think is the correct pinout.

I don’t have the proper replacement pins nor the tool to remove the pins from the Molex connector.

I’m very annoyed that I had to spend the weekend troubleshooting these basic mistakes. Even more annoyed that no one replied to my request for help from the Carbide 3D.

Is this par for the course or did I just get very unlucky?

If there is another “ticket” system I was unaware of that.

The email did state “we received your request…”

That worked (not sure why the previous searches didn’t work).

The ticket is active and will be worked on when we get to it in the queue (Mondays are always a bit long in terms of numbers since we have to start with the weekend backlog).
