Bit Zero Problem

I tried searching for this, but every post similar isn’t exactly the same, so I thought I’d throw it out there.

Been using Bit Zero with my 4XXL. It’s V2. No problems at all. All of a sudden, yesterday, when I tried to probe, it would hit the one side and then I get an error message and have to initialize. Tried a number of times.

If the magnetic connection touches the orientation pad, it does turn red. BUT if it touches anything magnetic, it stays green. Usually, it will turn red then too.

Note: Awhile ago, I broke the wire connection. My husband was able to strip and reconnect. It’s worked for about a year. Could that be the issue? Should he retry the connection? Just wondering if it could be something else.

Edit: It is deep enough and does actually hit the side.

Use a multimeter to check each wire/connection for continuity?

Hey Will - thanks! We actually got it working. He took our configuration apart and put it back together! It’s all good! But I’m counting the days before I’m going to have to replace it!

Total user mistake with breaking it. But glad to have got it working again.
