Without a link, I’d guess it’s a BitSetter “clone”.
If so, the difference would be the switch. It probably uses a cheap microswitch. Those aren’t made for precision, but they’re not bad either.
You can BitSet with a piece of aluminum foil if you want. You can probe zero too, but you bought the BitZero.
I love my BitSetter. Could I make my own? Sure. Would it be as nice? No. Would it work? Of course. I was BitSetting before there was a BitSetter, but THE BitSetter just makes it so easy.
