How do I add different bit sizes to the carbide create library that weren’t preloaded?
If you select a tool before clicking on “Add Tool” the selected tool will be used as a template for the new one.
- Toolpath
- Edit Library
- Add Tool
- double-click on the new tool to go into edit mode
- edit as needed
- Ok
- close window
To find out the feeds and speeds of you 3rd party bits you can email their customer service. Be sure to give them the model and/or part number. I purchased a Whiteside Fly Cutter to Tram my spoil board. Whiteside does not have their feeds and speeds posted on their web site and I emailed customer service and they answered back with the feed and speed they recommended for use. I have emailed some bit makers and never got an answer back. Many have their F&S data posted on their web site. There are online calculators for F&S data but I like to get it directly from the manufacturer if possible.
