I want to carve out some epoxy, but I was wondering if regular bits (I’m using 1/8 and 1/16 for this) will work. Also, when I’m choosing the tools should I select soft plastic or hard plastic?
Yes, the 1/8" & 1/16" bit works for epoxy. Treat it like hardwood when it comes to settings. I suggest a down-cut end mill to prevent any chipping from occurring.
Thank you, great to know. I would never have guessed to treat it like hardwood.
