BitSetter and BitZero Not Working Together

I recently purchased a BitZero2 to add to my BitSetter on my 5 Pro. When I plug the BitZero in and try to start a job, I get error BS001 stating that the BitSetter button is jammed down, or the ground is touching the BitZero. Neither of which are true. What am I doing wrong?

Contact us at support@carbide3d.com and we will look into this with you and get this sorted out as quickly as possible.

Thanks. I just sent an email.

Sorry …Have to ask… Are they plugged into the correct connections on the board?

To my knowledge, I am. It plugs into the front right plastic cover on the left side of the “C” cover. If that is not correct, please let me know.

The magnet on the BitZero can be touching ground and cause issues. Both the BitSetter and BitZero are interconnected. So if the BitZero magnet is grounded it effects the BitSetter.

That was the problem. Thanks, Will.

Good call! I had them backwards. Thanks for pointing it out.
