A very simple accessory for the BitSetter.
When measuring a large diameter bit (1 ¼" or ¾" mortising bit) I need a larger surface than the one provided by the original push button.
I wanted the larger button to stay put but be easy to install / remove.
I attach a ¼" thick section of ½" steel rod to the top of the original button with double stick tape.
The auxiliary button is a wood disk 1 ½" x ¾" with a centered .125" deep recess that fits over the button.
