So according to the forums and the Pro 5, the bitzero plugs into the front (bottom left from the illuminated C logo). But it has a completely different type of plug. What am I missing?
You have a BitZero for an SO3/4/Pro/HDM — the SO5 Pro uses a different connector.
Contact the folks at support@carbide3d.com to work out how this should be handled.
That makes sense. Thank you!
I have the same problem and contacted support and they said I have to buy a new one. Is that what others have to do too?
I don’t know — I have no involvement in the financial end of things — check w/ the folks in Sales.
I have a BitZero V1 for my Pro XXl. If you end up not being able to exchange the proper one for the 5 then let me know what you want for it.
Will do. They sent me the wrong one with my new machine, so hopefully they will just replace it.
I was also told to buy a new one, but I don’t want to spend another $120.
Has anyone tried just replacing the connector?
