Can I buy a board replacement kit for my machine please?

Why not??? That sounds a little weird in abrupt are you a representative of the company or just someone on this page? I bought a special kit for my machine that included all the slats. I don’t wanna spend my time making slats. They should be available as I bought them with my machine, so are you representing the company?

Also, my slats are 40 inches long not 24 inches. That file will not work !!!

Brets Laser has them on Etsy. With additional bench dog holes as well He also makes them out of 1" Mdf which gives you one or two more surfacing cycles. And David Relax. Will is the all powerful overseer of this board. He is also is very giving in his helpfulness and knowledge and sharing said knowledge. Try and be nice when you’re asking people for advice. The Mdf is a consumables. item.

Yes, I work for the company, but I only represent the company when responding from support@carbide3d.com.

We don’t offer replacement slats for all sizes of machines — they’re heavy and expensive to ship.

According to:

the slats on an SO4 XL should be 23.622 inches long.

Hi,

I sell waste board slat kits for the Shapeoko 5 pro but I’m currently developing a version for the Shapeoko 4 standard, XL, and XXL. Should be ready in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the shout out. Shapeok 4 slat kits are in development and will be ready in a couple weeks. Kits are cheaper in my website FYI.
