We recently moved and to ease the sting of leaving their childhood home, I let my kids pick how they wanted their rooms to be decorated, nothing off limits except black paint.
My son loves Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, so I had a mural made to cover one of his walls and this is what we replaced his HVAC vent with.
I had a devil of a time getting Fusion to CAM out all of those hexagons and ended up exporting it as an STL and using meshcam to machine it on my S03 out of birch ply. He wanted the vent to look like a burn in the map, so i burned it and then sealed it up with shellac.
You can’t see it well once it’s on the wall, but I suppose that’s the point.
