BUG: Carbide Create build 514, saving gcode

When saving gcode in Carbide Create, there is no file extension appended to the gcode file whatsoever.

Impact: Carbide Motion will not be able to open the file.
Workaround: The user must remember to add “.nc” to the filename whenever saving the gcode.
Regression: This issue was NOT seen in build 474. “.nc” was appended to the filename even when the user did not specify.

Test Environment:

  • MacOS 10.15.7
  • Carbide Create build 514

This has been discussed several times. I believe it only is an issue for MAC and not Windows.
