Burn Width with JTech 7w laser

I just received my J-tech 7w laser and set it up on my Shapeoko. I got it burning/engraving just fine. I have a (hopefully quick) question. I have the laser burn an image, and it comes out good but its lines are very thin. I am guessing it is the thickness of the laser. I was wondering if there is a way to make my burns a different thickness? Do I need to slow the movement speed or increase the laser power? Just wondering the best way to control the thickness.

You could come out of focus, but that might go with a loss of performance.
You’re best option is to use a raster image, with a loss in speed.

If your image is just a line, that’s all you get - a line. You can try offsetting the vector a small amount and tell lightburn to fill between the original and the offset.
