Cabide create, paths organization

I have a piece in making. I took my company logo, traced it into carbide create and placed it were i needed it. I then drew a rectangle at the outside of the piece. I wanted to clear all the material away to a set depth, except were the logo is. I selected the rectangle then the logo and chose ‘pocket’. Everything looked good.

Carbide motion has the Nomad cut each tool path to depth in stages, then moves into the next tool path.

Is there a way to tell carbide create to run all the tool paths at one depth before plunging to the next depth stage? Then the tool wouldn’t be trying to cut in a deep trench.

Since you only have two toolpaths why not cut both to a certain depth and let the machine finish. Then edit the c2d file tool paths to start at the previous max depth and cut deeper. It would be more time consuming but might give you the desired effect.
