I have a J-Tech laser attached to the side of my Shapeoko, but can’t use the otherwise really nice Carbide Motion because it always pauses after turning the laser on with M03. I’ve been told that’s due to the spindle speed-up delay.
I see now that there’s a Laser mode ($32=1). I’ve tried once to set it, but got an error message. Can anybody confirm that Laser mode works with Carbide Motion?
Can you show us what the error is? If you’re using GRBL 1.1, it should work. It will NOT work with .9
