Got a new Shapeoko 5 pro that came with bitsetter, but I don’t use it. Would like to disable bitsetter as it wastes a lot of time every time I set the z. Is there a way to disable bitsetter?
Here on the forum people have stated that on the SO5 you can enable/disable the Bitsetter without reinitializing that model. However on SO3/4 you must reinitialize after enabling/disabling the Bitsetter or your internal coordinates are out of sync with the Bitsetter. I find the BitSetter to be a very useful tool on the C3D machines.
