Cant add a tool to my library

Hi Guys,

I’m using a shapeoko 3 xl with carbide create (build 743).

I’m trying to add an endmill to my tools, but carbide won’t let me save it.
It highlights “included angle”, which is on 0.0.
Only way to get out of the screen is to press ‘cancel’.

I’m situated in Belgium and using MM, not inch, downloaded the last version.
I read a topic on people having the same problem. I’ve put my separator on “.” Instead of “,”, but the problem persists.

Anybody able to help me out? I can’t use the router…

That is supposed to be the fix.

Please try this:

  • power down
  • reboot
  • check for updates
  • reboot
  • change preferences to use a period as a decimal separator
  • create a new user w/ admin privileges
  • reboot
  • log in as the new user
  • check the period is a decimal separator — if it isn’t change it and reboot
  • try running Carbide Create and creating a new tool

Apparently everything worked after reboot.
I think windows needed to reboot to process my adaptation to “.”.
