I have created a pattern. But it consists of 4 different vectors. I’m trying to create a single object. But I can’t seem to get the end points to connect.
I don’t know if this picture will display. But it is four separate objects. I would like to make them one object.
What is the process?
Join Vectors should work.
If it doesn’t upload the file.
Without zooming in it’s hard to tell. Not sure what the threshold for joining is.
This corner certainly looks like it might cause an issue…
[edit] It looks like the threshold is variable depending on the zoom level.
Try zooming way out then selecting the 4 vectors, and see if the “Join Vectors” button becomes visible.
As a software feature request
Show unconnected ends in a different color so you can identify possible issues.
Add a user defined tolerance for finding/fixing coincident points.
This could drag a point off the original path.
