Just got a shapeoko I’ve made a couple simple things using carbide create. Now I would like to copy a spots team logo to carbide create, instead of using the background feature and manually put in all the lines as it’s hard to get it right on. Is there a way of copy a logo onto another program then have it transferred to carbide create?
Thank you
You can find many logos online that are in a vector format so they don’t need redrawing. Try a google search for “vector (team name) logo” or “svg (team name) logo”.
You can also search for filetype:pdf on google, and sometimes one will get PDFs which may be opened in Inkscape or any other vector editor and then re-saved as an SVG.
Please note however that both PDFs and SVGs can contain pixel images which will not import thus into Carbide Create. View in outline mode before saving for CC to see what will be imported.
