nothing is working. No track pac nor keys. Tried turning it off but nothing. Help please

Holding the power button should eventually shut off the laptop. This (last resort option) doesn’t work?

On any modern operating system that’s working properly, an application cannot freeze the whole machine. That’s generally a sign of something else going wrong in the system.

If you have a Arm processor(not Intel) your mac book will benefit from a shut down/system restart periodically. This is due to the Unified Memory Architecture used on Apple silicon processors.
