Carbide create saving issues

I was looking but I can’t find any topics on this.
What’s happening is when I save a file on my MacBook I usually “export SVG” to a projects folder. The issue is when I work on a couple other project, and go back to it later, the lines are scattered all over the board. For example, I did a crib board last week. I had all the holes lined up in a very intricate locations to accommodate the backdrop image. Then I reopened it the background image was still in place but the holes had scattered all over the place. I hadn’t set any tool paths yet so I didn’t save the code. Just the SVG file. It this an issue with my MacBook? It’s old as sant himself. 2012. Maybe not that old but… or is there a newer version of carbide create I haven’t seen anywhere? They’re all fixable issues but I’d love to not have them.

Whilst archiving SVG may be a useful way to share your CC designs into other applications, surely your main archive file should be the C2D file? Re-opening that ought to work without the SVG import hassles?

I’m afraid that in certain circumstances circles will be altered in their position when exporting to an SVG. This is a known bug which I’m hoping will get fixed in a future version.

For now the work-around is to select all circles (sequentially if need be) and apply a Boolean operation to them which will convert (or possibly duplicate in current versions) them as polylines.

If you could post a couple of files which show this problem here we could see if a developer would find them useful as a test case.
