Carbide Create V6 GCode

Does Carbide Create V6 limit GCode lines, in testing I found, not all of my gcode lines are in the program code!
Thank you,
Brian

Can you share an example of what’s missing?

For what it’s worth, V6 is over two years old at this point and all development and bug fixes since then have gone into V7. We don’t support V6 at all anymore.

Thanks for your reply, it looks like I wasn’t selecting all of the vectors, once I did all code was there!

If you have a Shapeoko then CC V7 is the way to go. CM can read the .c2d files with the gcode encrypted inside the file. However if you use a 3rd party gcode sender or have a 3rd party machine than CC v6 is still viable. I have been using CC since V3 and in the old days there were problems with extremely large gcode files. Somewhere along v4 or v5 they fixed that issue and since that time I have never heard of anyone having a file size issue with either gcode or .c2d files.

The quick history is when C3D went to CC v7 it eliminated all the free users with 3rd party machines from tying up support. 3rd party machines are supported if you buy the Pro upgrade and C3D will help you with CC problems but only if you have the Pro version. When I say C3D supports 3rd party machines I mean CC issues and not fixing 3rd party hardware/software issues. C3D supports using CC to make your gcode files to export to your 3rd party machines.
